This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 3" suction and 2-1/2" discharge ports equipped with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller with a bronze wear ring. The pump incorporates a dry shaft design with a stainless steel shaft covered by a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The unit includes pressure tappings on suction and discharge connections to facilitate system monitoring.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 10 HP, 200/60/3 PH WEG motor in a 215 T-frame NEMA enclosure. The motor is TEFC and meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. It features AEGIS shaft grounding and is configured for across-the-line starting. The pump is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and utilizes a Woods coupler with a standard coupler guard. This assembly is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature and maintains a Pump Efficiency Index (PEI) of 0.87.
