This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller, a bronze shaft sleeve, and a bronze wear ring. It utilizes ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump includes a 7-1/4" nominal impeller diameter and a mechanical seal composed of a tungsten carbide seat, carbon rotor, and Buna rubber, which operates at temperatures up to 225 °F. The design incorporates a slip-on shaft sleeve to facilitate seal maintenance and utilizes a dry shaft configuration.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 3 HP WEG motor. The motor is a TEFC enclosure in a 182 JM frame style with feet. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3 PH power supply with across the line starting. The motor meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The unit has a PEI of 0.89. The top center line discharge simplifies piping layouts, while the rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing system piping.
