This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with a 5" suction and a 4" discharge. It includes a 13-1/2" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze and incorporates a bronze wear ring. The pump utilizes a stainless steel shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design to prevent the shaft from contacting the system fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for a maximum temperature of 250°F. The unit includes ANSI Class 125 flanges, flush seal line taps, and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design permits servicing without disturbing the system piping.
The pump is configured with a 40 HP, 1750 RPM Baldor motor in a 324 JM frame with feet. It features a TEFC enclosure and operates on a 230-460/60/3PH power supply with an across-the-line starting option. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature. This pump has a DOE PEI value of 0.92.
