This base-mounted end suction pump utilizes a cast iron casing with integrally cast mounting feet and a bronze impeller. The construction incorporates a dry shaft design that isolates the stainless steel shaft from the circulating fluid, protected by a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. This configuration allows for 125 PSI operation without a wear ring. A mechanical seal is installed with a silicon-carbide seat and EPT rubber. The pump assembly facilitates servicing without disturbing system piping connections.
Operating with 75 HP, the premium efficiency motor is built with an ODP enclosure at 1750 RPM, Aegis grounding, and a 380-460V / 3PH power supply, resulting in a DOE PEI of 0.46. The S in the SFI series denotes Taco’s advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 1 / IP 21 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
