This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction and 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump includes a cast iron casing with integrated pressure tappings and a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It is constructed with a stainless steel shaft, a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve, and a dry shaft design that prevents fluid contact with the shaft. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The bearing housing uses permanently lubricated, sealed-for-life ball bearings and includes flush seal line taps.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM using a 7-1/2 HP WEG motor in a NEMA 213 T-frame with a TEFC enclosure. It is configured for a 380/60/3 power supply and features across the line starting. The pump is mounted on a welded structural steel base that includes an integral drain pan and a Woods coupler with a standard guard. This equipment meets NEMA premium efficiency standards, includes AEGIS shaft grounding, and has a PEI of 0.92. The motor is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature.
