This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 1-1/2" suction connection and a 1-1/4" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. The construction includes a stainless steel shaft and a stainless steel shaft sleeve to isolate the shaft from the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal features a silicon-carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, providing service for fluid temperatures up to 250°F. This unit is configured for clean water applications and includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is configured with a 182 NEMA T-frame motor. The pump assembly mounts to a welded steel base that includes an integral drip pan and a Woods coupler protected by a standard coupler guard. The assembly achieves a pump energy index (PEI) of 0.86. The bearing housing uses permanently lubricated, sealed-for-life ball bearings to support the drive shaft.
