This Taco CI Series close coupled end suction pump features a 5" suction and 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 13-1/2" nominal diameter stainless steel impeller housed within a cast iron casing and cover. The unit incorporates a dry shaft design that eliminates contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft, which includes a slip-on bronze shaft sleeve to facilitate seal maintenance. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The pump is configured with flush seal line taps and a rear pullout design. Pressure tappings are provided on both the suction and discharge connections.
This pump operates at 1150 RPM and is powered by a 15 HP Baldor motor. The motor is configured with a TEFC enclosure, a 284JM frame style with feet, and an AEGIS shaft grounding ring. Power requirements are 575V/60Hz/3PH with an across the line starting option. The motor meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards. The pump assembly utilizes a top center line discharge design to simplify piping layouts and reduce strain.
