This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit consists of a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller, and a bronze shaft sleeve. The pump utilizes a dry shaft design and a slip-on shaft sleeve to facilitate seal maintenance. It is configured with a rear pullout design and a top center line discharge to simplify piping layouts. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, and operates at a maximum temperature of 250 °F. This pump includes flush seal line taps and suction and discharge pressure tappings.
This pump is driven by a 30 HP, 1750 RPM, 200V, 60Hz, 3PH Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. The motor is built on a 286 JM frame with feet and is configured for CCW rotation and across-the-line starting. It operates in a 40 °C ambient temperature and meets NEMA standards. The motor is a premium efficiency model that meets MG1-12.55 requirements and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump has a PEI value of 0.89.
