This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 6" suction and 5" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The construction includes a cast iron casing and cover, an 11" nominal diameter stainless steel impeller, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It uses a dry shaft design that prevents system fluid from contacting the shaft. The mechanical seal assembly contains a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for a maximum temperature of 250°F. The pump is equipped with flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing system piping, and the top centerline discharge configuration simplifies piping layouts.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 20 HP Baldor TEFC motor. It is configured for 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power and uses a JM frame style with feet. The motor complies with NEMA standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The electrical configuration supports across the line starting. This equipment meets the MG1-12.55 standard for premium efficiency and has a PEI of 0.94.
