This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing, a 6-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design to prevent the pump shaft from contacting the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. This pump includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design allows for service and maintenance without disturbing the system piping.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 1-1/2 HP Baldor Super E premium efficiency motor. The motor is a TEFC enclosure, 145 JM frame style with feet, and complies with NEMA MG1-12.55 standards. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3 power supply with across the line starting and counter-clockwise rotation. The motor is rated for a 40°C ambient environment. This pump has a DOE PEI of 0.85.
