This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 4" suction and 3" discharge connections, fitted with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze wear ring. The unit incorporates a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The pump casing includes integrally cast mounting feet and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor TEFC motor in a NEMA 213 T-frame. The electrical configuration supports 230-460/60/3 power with across the line starting. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded steel base with an integral drip pan and a Woods coupler protected by a standard coupler guard. This model rotates counter-clockwise and operates in a 40°C ambient environment. The pump is rated with a PEI value of 0.91.
