This Taco CI Series close coupled end suction pump features a 4" suction and 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller inside a cast iron casing. The unit employs a dry shaft design with a stainless steel slip-on shaft sleeve to isolate the shaft from the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, suitable for operation at temperatures up to 250 °F. The design includes a rear pullout configuration, flush seal line taps, and integrated pressure tappings on the suction and discharge ports.
The pump is driven by a 15 HP Baldor motor in an ODP enclosure on a 254 JM frame with feet. It operates at 1750 RPM on a 230/460V, 60Hz, 3PH power supply with an across the line starting option. The motor is a premium efficiency model compliant with MG1-12.55 standards and features AEGIS shaft grounding. The system is rated for a 40 °C ambient environment and meets NEMA standards. The pump carries a PEI value of 0.91.
