This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with a 6" suction and 5" discharge, configured with ANSI Class 125 flanges without a wear ring. The pump includes a bronze impeller with a 7-1/4" nominal diameter and a bronze shaft sleeve. The dry shaft design prevents contact between the shaft and the system fluid. A mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber operates at temperatures up to 250 °F. The pump incorporates flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design facilitates maintenance, and the top center line discharge assists in self-venting and piping alignment.
The pump is driven by a 2 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure and operates at 1150 RPM. It uses a JM frame style with feet, frame size 184, and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The power supply requirement is 230-460/60/3PH, and it utilizes across-the-line starting. The motor meets NEMA standard requirements and provides premium efficiency in accordance with MG1-12.55 standards. The unit is rated for a 40 °C ambient temperature and is configured for counter-clockwise rotation.
