This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump construction includes a cast iron casing, a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a bronze wear ring. It uses a stainless steel shaft paired with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve to maintain a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a silicon-carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, allowing for a maximum fluid temperature of 250°F. The unit incorporates a self-flushing seal design with flush seal line taps and pressure tappings at both the suction and discharge connections.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. The motor is configured for 230-460/60/3PH and fits a NEMA 213T frame style. The assembly includes a welded steel base with an integral drip pan and a Woods coupler protected by a standard coupler guard. The motor meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and features AEGIS shaft grounding. The system is rated for a 40°C ambient environment, supports across-the-line starting, and has a PEI of 0.91.
