This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 6" suction port and a 5" discharge port with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit utilizes a 7.25" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. It is constructed with a stainless steel shaft and a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber components. This pump design supports fluid temperatures up to 250°F and uses a dry shaft configuration to prevent the circulating fluid from contacting the shaft.
The unit operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 50 HP Baldor Super E premium efficiency motor with an ODP enclosure. It is configured for a 230/460V, 3PH, 60Hz power supply and utilizes across the line starting. The motor is mounted to a NEMA 324 frame and connects to the pump via a Woods coupler. The assembly is secured to a welded base that includes a drip pan and a coupler guard. This model is EISA compliant with a DOE PEI of 0.92 and an HI Energy Rating of 8. It is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature and CCW rotation.
