This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with a 2-1/2" suction connection and a 2" discharge connection. It utilizes a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft sleeve. The pump is constructed with ANSI Class 125 flanges and a bronze wear ring. It includes a mechanical seal with a Ni-Resist seat, carbon rotor, and Viton rubber, rated for temperatures up to 225 °F. The unit incorporates a dry shaft design, flush seal line taps, and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. Its rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing system piping.
The pump is driven by a 10 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure, configured for 230-460/60/3PH power. The motor features a 213 JM frame style with feet and operates at 3450 RPM. This unit includes AEGIS shaft grounding and meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. The pump is rated with a DOE PEI of 0.9. It utilizes an across-the-line starting option and is suitable for operation in a 40 °C ambient environment.
