This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction and 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit includes a cast iron casing and an 11" diameter bronze impeller with a bronze wear ring. It uses a dry shaft design with a bronze shaft sleeve to isolate the pump shaft from the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, supporting operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The rear pullout design allows for maintenance without disturbing the system piping, while the top center line discharge simplifies piping layouts and facilitates self-venting.
The pump is configured with a 10 HP Baldor TEFC motor that operates at 1750 RPM. It features an AEGIS shaft grounding ring and is powered by 230-460V/60/3PH. The motor is mounted in a 215 JM frame with feet. This pump has a PEI of 0.86 and meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards. The assembly includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections, and flush seal line taps allow for the installation of a filter to protect the seal from particles.
