This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction and 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The assembly includes a cast iron casing and cover, a 9-1/2" nominal diameter stainless steel impeller, and a bronze wear ring. The unit utilizes a dry shaft design with a bronze shaft sleeve to prevent contact between the pump shaft and the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal is configured with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, capable of handling temperatures up to 250 °F. Flush seal line taps are provided for the installation of a filter, and the rear pullout design allows for maintenance without disturbing system piping. Pressure tappings are included on suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1150 RPM and is driven by a 3 HP Baldor Super E Premium Efficiency motor. The motor is configured with an ODP enclosure and is built on a 213 JM frame style with feet. The power supply requirement is 230-460V/3PH. This motor complies with NEMA standards and meets MG1-12.55 efficiency ratings. The pump uses an across-the-line starting option and operates in a 40 °C ambient temperature environment with standard counter-clockwise rotation.
