This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features an 8" suction and a 6" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 9-1/2" nominal diameter, and a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft paired with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The pump casing includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on both the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 40 HP TEFC WEG motor in a NEMA 324T frame. It is configured for a 380V, 60Hz, 3PH power supply and supports across the line starting. The motor meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and operates in a 50°C ambient environment with CCW rotation. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan and a Woods coupler with a standard coupler guard. This model has a DOE PEI value of 0.94.
