This base-mounted end suction pump incorporates a cast iron casing with an integrally cast mounting foot and a bronze impeller. The assembly utilizes a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve, which prevents contact with circulating fluids through a dry shaft design rated for 125 PSI. A mechanical seal with a ceramic seat and EPT rubber components provides fluid containment during operation. Pressure tappings on suction and discharge connections allow for system monitoring, while the volute provides center-line discharge for air venting.
The 10 HP Premium Efficiency TEFC motor operates at 1750 RPM and integrates Aegis grounding on a 208V 3PH power supply, resulting in a DOE PEI of 0.47. The "S" in the SFI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with an electro-mechanical bypass and main disconnect and holds an enclosure NEMA 12 / IP 55 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
