This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and a 2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing and a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It uses a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the fluid and the shaft. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The casing includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections and is configured without a wear ring.
The pump operates at 3450 RPM and is driven by a 15 HP, 230-460/60/3 PH motor in a 254T NEMA frame. The motor is a TEFC enclosure with a standard across-the-line starting option and meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. It features greasable bearings in the bearing frame and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and uses a Woods standard coupler with a coupler guard. This unit is rated for 40°C ambient operation and has a PEI value of 0.91.
