This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a bronze wear ring, and a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes an 11" nominal impeller diameter and is rated for clean water applications up to 250°F. The mechanical seal is configured with a silicon-carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. The pump design incorporates a dry shaft and includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 20 HP, 230-460V/3PH/60Hz Baldor premium efficiency motor in an ODP enclosure. It utilizes a NEMA 256 T-frame motor with AEGIS shaft grounding and meets MG1-12.55 standards. The assembly includes a welded base with a drip pan, a standard Woods coupler, and a coupler guard. The bearing frame features greasable bearings. This equipment is configured for across the line starting at 40°C ambient temperature and carries a DOE PEI of 0.92.
