This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 7-1/4" nominal diameter, and a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The unit includes AEGIS shaft grounding and incorporates pressure tappings on both the suction and discharge connections.
This pump operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 40 HP TEFC WEG motor. The electrical configuration is 230-460V/60Hz/3PH, using an across-the-line starting option. The motor is housed in a NEMA 324TS frame. The pump assembly is mounted on a welded structural steel base that includes an integral drip pan and a standard coupler guard protecting a Woods coupler. This equipment meets NEMA standards and has a PEI of 0.95.
