This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features 2-1/2" suction and 2" discharge ports with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. The pump utilizes a dry shaft design with a stainless steel shaft and a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a silicon-carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, suitable for clean water applications up to 250°F. This model is constructed without a wear ring.
The pump is driven by a 3 HP Baldor motor in a 182 NEMA T-frame style, operating at 1750 RPM with an ODP enclosure. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3PH power supply with across-the-line starting. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes an integrated drip pan and a Woods coupler with a standard guard. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The unit operates at a 40°C ambient temperature and has a DOE PEI value of 0.88.
