This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with ANSI Class 250 flanges and a bronze wear ring. It uses a 9-1/2" diameter bronze impeller and a bronze shaft sleeve. The pump incorporates a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. A mechanical seal is included, utilizing a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operating temperatures up to 250 °F. The unit features a 3" suction port and a 2-1/2" discharge port, with pressure tappings provided on both connections. The rear pullout design allows for servicing without disconnecting the system piping, and flush seal line taps are integrated for the optional installation of a filter.
This pump is configured with a 3 HP Baldor motor in an ODP enclosure, built on a 213 JM frame with feet. It operates at 1150 RPM and is powered by a 200V, 60Hz, 3PH electrical supply. The motor meets NEMA standard requirements and features AEGIS shaft grounding. Starting is configured as across the line. The assembly is rated for a 40 °C ambient temperature environment and complies with MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards.
