This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 10" suction and 8" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing and a bronze impeller with a 13-1/2" nominal diameter. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft protected by a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. The pump also includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 200 HP, 460/60/3 motor in a NEMA 447 frame. The motor features a TEFC enclosure and meets Premium Efficiency MG1-12.55 standards. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan and uses a standard coupler with a coupler guard. The system includes greasable bearings in the frame, an AEGIS SGR, and an insulated bearing on the NDE. The unit has a DOE PEI of 0.94.
