This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 3" suction and 2-1/2" discharge connections. It uses a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve. The internal pump configuration incorporates a mechanical seal with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250 °F. The pump assembly connects to the system piping via ANSI Class 125 flanges and utilizes a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid.
The pump operates at 1150 RPM and is powered by a 3 HP Baldor TEFC motor. The motor is configured in a NEMA 213 T-frame for 380V, 60Hz, 3PH power with an Across the Line starting option. It meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The unit is supported by a welded base that features an integrated drip pan and a standard coupler guard for the Woods coupler. This assembly is rated for a 40 °C ambient environment and complies with NEMA standards.
