This Taco CI Series close coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with an 8" suction port and a 6" discharge port. The unit includes an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze shaft sleeve. It is configured with a mechanical seal utilizing a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. The pump design incorporates a dry shaft to prevent contact between the fluid and the shaft, along with flush seal line taps and a rear pullout assembly for service. Connections consist of ANSI Class 125 flanges, and the casing features a top center line discharge orientation.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 40 HP Baldor TEFC motor with a drip cover. The motor uses a JM frame style with feet and is configured for a 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power supply with across the line starting. The system meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The unit is rated for a maximum fluid temperature of 250°F and a 40°C ambient temperature. It maintains a PEI value of 0.92.
