This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The assembly is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 6-1/4" nominal diameter, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design to prevent fluid contact with the pump shaft. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. The unit includes a rear pullout design and flush seal line taps for filter installation. Pressure tappings are located on the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 3450 RPM and uses a 15 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3PH power supply with across the line starting. The motor utilizes a 215 JM frame style with feet and includes AEGIS shaft grounding to meet premium efficiency standards. This configuration carries a DOE PEI rating of 0.87. The top center line discharge design facilitates piping layouts and self-venting.
