This base-mounted end suction pump comprises a cast iron casing and a bronze impeller. The pump incorporates a dry shaft design, which prevents circulating fluid from contacting the stainless steel shaft. A bronze shaft sleeve covers the shaft, while the mechanical seal assembly utilizes a ceramic seat half and EPT rubber components. Engineered for a pressure rating of 125 PSI, this unit maintains structural integrity through its cast iron construction.
The assembly utilizes a 25 HP premium efficiency TEFC motor operating at 3450 RPM, integrated with Aegis grounding on a 380-460V / 3PH power supply, resulting in a DOE PEI rating of 0.47. The 'S' in the SFI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 12 / IP 55 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
