This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2" suction and a 1-1/4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump includes a cast iron casing with a center-line discharge and an integrated bronze wear ring. It uses a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft equipped with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The internal design incorporates a dry shaft construction. The pump uses a mechanical seal with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. Pressure tappings are located on the suction and discharge connections, and the unit includes AEGIS shaft grounding.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 2 HP Baldor motor in a NEMA 145 T-frame. The motor features an ODP enclosure and is compatible with a 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power supply. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan and a Woods coupler protected by a coupler guard. The pump is configured with an across-the-line starting option. This model meets the MG1-12.55 standard for premium efficiency and has a DOE PEI rating of 0.81.
