This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and 1-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump utilizes a cast iron casing and a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It is configured with a stainless steel shaft and a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve within a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal is composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, with a temperature rating of 250 °F. Pressure tappings are provided at the suction and discharge connections for system monitoring.
The unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 3 HP Baldor Super E premium efficiency motor. This motor uses a TEFC NEMA 182 T-frame enclosure for operation with a 230-460V, 3PH, 60Hz power supply at 40 °C ambient conditions. The pump assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan and a Woods coupler with a standard coupler guard. This configuration achieves a PEI of 0.85 and meets MG1-12.55 efficiency standards.
