This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and a 1-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 7-1/4" nominal diameter, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the system fluid and the pump shaft. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. Additional features include a rear pullout design, a top center line discharge, flush seal line taps, and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
The unit is powered by a 2 HP Baldor motor with a 145 JM frame and mounting feet. The motor is a TEFC enclosure with a drip cover and operates at 1750 RPM. Electrical configuration is 230-460V/60Hz/3PH with across the line starting. The motor meets NEMA standard requirements and premium efficiency specifications per MG1-12.55, and it includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump operates at a 40 °C ambient temperature with counter-clockwise rotation. This unit has a DOE PEI rating of 0.83.
