This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with ANSI Class 125 flanges and a bronze wear ring. The pump uses a 6-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It is constructed with a stainless steel shaft and a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve in a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, with an operating temperature rating of 250 °F. The pump suction connection is 3" and the discharge connection is 2-1/2".
This unit operates at 3450 RPM and is driven by a 7 1/2 HP Baldor motor in a 184 T frame with an ODP enclosure. It is configured for 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power with an across-the-line starting option. The assembly features greasable bearings, AEGIS shaft grounding, and a welded base with an integrated drip pan and a Woods coupler with a guard. The motor meets NEMA standards and MG1-12.55 premium efficiency requirements. This equipment maintains a DOE PEI rating of 0.89.
