This close-coupled end suction pump incorporates a cast iron casing and a bronze impeller. It is constructed with a dry shaft design that isolates the shaft from the circulating fluid to prevent corrosion. The assembly integrates a bronze shaft sleeve for seal maintenance and a mechanical seal comprised of a ceramic seat with EPT rubber. This pump accommodates a maximum working pressure of 125 PSI.
The system utilizes a 50 HP premium efficiency TEFC motor operating at 3450 RPM with Aegis shaft grounding, receiving power through a 380-460V / 3PH supply, with a DOE PEI rating of 0.46. The 'S' in the SCI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 12 / IP 55 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
