This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump includes an 11" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze, housed within a cast iron casing. It utilizes a dry shaft design with a bronze shaft sleeve and a mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. The unit includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The rear pullout design allows for servicing without removing system piping, and the top center line discharge configuration assists with self-venting.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 10 HP Baldor TEFC motor. The motor is configured with a 215 JM frame with feet and operates on 230/460V, 60Hz, 3PH power with an across-the-line starting option. The motor meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature and a maximum fluid temperature of 250°F. The rotation is CCW, and the unit has a DOE PEI value of 0.86.
