This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and a 2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a mechanical seal with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. The design includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout configuration allows for servicing without disconnecting system piping, while the top center line discharge simplifies piping layouts. The dry shaft design prevents the pump shaft from contacting system fluid.
This pump is configured with a 20 HP WEG motor in a 256 JM frame with feet. It operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by 230-460/60/3 electricity. The unit uses a TEFC enclosure and features AEGIS shaft grounding. Starting is achieved through an across the line configuration. This pump meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and has a PEI value of 0.9. It is rated for a maximum fluid temperature of 250 °F and a 40 °C ambient temperature.
