This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction connection and a 2" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design and a mechanical seal composed of a silicon-carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for clean water applications up to 250°F. The casing is equipped with pressure tappings at the suction and discharge connections.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 5 HP Baldor ODP motor in a NEMA 184T frame. The electrical configuration supports 230-460/60/3PH power and utilizes across-the-line starting. The motor meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded structural steel base with an integral drip pan and features a standard Woods coupler protected by a coupler guard. It is rated for a 40°C ambient environment with a PEI of 0.86.
