This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 10" suction and an 8" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing and a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It includes a bronze wear ring and a stainless steel shaft equipped with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve using a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250 °F. Pressure tappings are provided on both the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1150 RPM and is powered by a 25 HP Baldor premium efficiency motor in a NEMA 324 T frame. The motor features an ODP enclosure, 230-460/60/3PH power supply, and AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is configured with a welded base, a drip pan, and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. A standard Woods flexible coupler connects the pump to the motor. The bearing frame houses greasable bearings, and the motor is designed for 40 °C ambient conditions.
