This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with ANSI Class 125 flanges and a bronze wear ring. The pump utilizes a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft equipped with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. It incorporates a dry shaft design and a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. Pressure tappings are located on both the suction and discharge connections for system monitoring.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 10 HP, TEFC Baldor motor with a 215 T-frame. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3 PH power supply using across the line starting and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that features an integrated drip pan and a Woods coupler protected by a standard guard. This unit meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and has a PEI rating of 0.96. It is rated for a 40 °C ambient environment.
