This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 2" suction connection and a 1-1/4" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit includes a cast iron casing and a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It utilizes a dry shaft design with a bronze shaft sleeve to isolate the pump shaft from the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. The pump assembly provides pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections and includes flush seal line taps. The rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing the system piping.
This pump operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 10 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure. It is configured for a 380V, 60Hz, 3PH power supply with an across-the-line starting option. The motor is built on a 215 JM frame with feet and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and carries a 40°C ambient rating. The unit has a pump energy index (PEI) of 0.83.
