This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 6" suction and 5" discharge with ANSI Class 250 flanges. The unit includes an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a cast iron casing equipped with a bronze wear ring. A stainless steel shaft is utilized in a dry shaft configuration and is protected by a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. Pressure tappings are located on both the suction and discharge connections.
This pump is configured with a 30 HP, TEFC, WEG motor in a NEMA 286 T frame, operating at 1750 RPM on 380/60/3 power. The motor meets Super E Premium Efficiency standards according to MG1-12.55, and the pump has a PEI of 0.94. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. A Woods coupling connects the pump to the motor, which features greasable bearings within the bearing frame. The unit is rated for a 40 °C ambient environment.
