This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction connection and a 1-1/2" discharge connection with ANSI Class 250 flanges. The unit includes a 6-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze wear ring. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing and utilizes a stainless steel shaft paired with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The internal design incorporates a dry shaft construction to prevent fluid contact with the shaft. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F.
The assembly is powered by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure, configured for a 230-460V/3PH/60Hz power supply. It operates at 3450 RPM and features an AEGIS shaft grounding ring. The motor is built on a NEMA 184T frame, meets premium efficiency standards per NEMA MG1-12.55, and is rated for a 40°C ambient environment. This pump is mounted on a welded base that includes an integrated drip pan and a Woods coupler with a standard guard. It utilizes an across-the-line starting configuration and has a DOE PEI rating of 0.91.
