This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2" suction and a 1-1/4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing and a 6-1/4" diameter bronze impeller. It uses a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. The casing includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections, as well as flush seal line taps.
The pump operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 3 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3 PH power supply and utilizes across-the-line starting. The motor is a NEMA T frame 145 and meets premium efficiency standards with AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes a drip pan and a coupler guard for the Woods coupler. This unit has a DOE PEI rating of 0.94.
