This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. The assembly includes a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents contact with circulating system fluid. The mechanical seal is configured with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The unit incorporates flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on suction and discharge connections. A rear pull-out design allows for servicing without removing system piping.
This unit is powered by a 30 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure, a drip cover, and AEGIS shaft grounding. The motor is mounted on a 286 JM frame with feet and operates at 3450 RPM. Electrical specifications are 230-460V, 3PH, 60Hz, with an across-the-line starting configuration. The motor is rated for 40°C ambient temperatures and complies with NEMA standards and MG1-12.55 premium efficiency requirements. This pump model carries a DOE PEI rating of 0.89.
