This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 5" suction and 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump construction includes a cast iron casing, a 9-1/2" diameter bronze impeller, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design to prevent contact with the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. The unit includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing the piping, while the top center line discharge configuration assists in venting.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 15 HP Baldor TEFC motor with a drip cover. The motor is configured with a 254JM frame with feet and operates on a 230-460V/3PH/60Hz power supply. The motor meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump features across-the-line starting and is rated for a 40 °C ambient environment. It has a PEI value of 0.92.
