This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing and cover with a 1-1/2" suction and a 1-1/4" discharge. It utilizes a 9-1/2" nominal diameter stainless steel impeller and a bronze shaft sleeve. The dry shaft design prevents contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The pump includes flush seal line taps, pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections, and ANSI Class 125 flanges without a wear ring. A rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing system piping, while the top center line discharge configuration assists with self-venting.
This unit is configured with a 15 HP Baldor motor in a 215 JM frame with feet. It operates at 3450 RPM and is rated for 230-460/60/3PH power supply with an ODP enclosure and drip cover. The motor is designed for premium efficiency, includes AEGIS shaft grounding, and supports across-the-line starting. It operates at a 40°C ambient temperature and complies with NEMA standards for counter-clockwise rotation. This pump has a DOE PEI value of 0.9.
