This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction connection and a 2-1/2" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 7-1/4" nominal diameter, and a stainless steel shaft equipped with a bronze shaft sleeve. The internal design incorporates a dry shaft to prevent contact with the pumped fluid. The pump uses a mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The casing includes gauge ports at the suction and discharge connections to facilitate system monitoring.
The pump operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 20 HP WEG motor. The motor is housed in a NEMA 254T frame with an ODP enclosure and supports 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power supply. The assembly is configured with across-the-line starting, a Woods coupler, a coupler guard, and AEGIS shaft grounding. The entire system is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan. This unit meets NEMA standards for premium efficiency, achieving a PEI value of 0.95.
