This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with a 2" suction and a 1-1/4" discharge. The unit includes a 7-1/4" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze and is paired with a stainless steel shaft and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes ANSI Class 125 flanges and is configured with a mechanical seal comprising a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and Viton rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. The pump assembly employs a dry shaft design to isolate the shaft from the circulating fluid.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 2 HP Baldor ODP motor in a 145 T frame. Electrical requirements are 230-460/60/3PH with across the line starting. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and includes an OSHA and a Woods coupler. This unit meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55, features AEGIS shaft grounding, and has a DOE PEI value of 0.81. The motor is rated for a 40 °C ambient environment.
