This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 1-1/2" suction and 1-1/4" discharge ports, utilizing ANSI Class 125 flanges. It is equipped with a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller, a bronze shaft sleeve, and a bronze wear ring. The pump utilizes a mechanical seal with a silicon-carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, capable of handling clean water at temperatures up to 250 °F. The unit features a dry shaft design that prevents contact with circulating fluid, as well as flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing system piping.
The pump is powered by a 3 HP Baldor TEFC motor, operating at 1750 RPM. It is configured for 230-460/60/3 power and uses a JM style motor frame with feet. The motor meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The starting option is across the line, and the unit carries a DOE PEI rating of 0.86.
